I know how to fry the chicken, I'm just looking for the seasoning combination for the cajun chicken. Thanks!Do you have a copy cat recipe for Bojangles Cajun fried chicken?
Notable to Bojangles is that the spice is not so much in the coating, on the meat. If you follow a good southern fried chicken recipe (soak the meat in buttermilk) and follow with a quick simple marinade (make sure tabasco is a major ingredient) and deep-fry, you should get good results.Do you have a copy cat recipe for Bojangles Cajun fried chicken?

You can add the Tabasco (or other hot sauce) to the buttermilk for the soak.
I believe Popeye's marinates their chicken in hot sauce 24 hours before cooking (no buttermilk).
3 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. Tabasco
Garlic salt
Paprika
Cayenne pepper
Black pepper
Mix liquid ingredients in bowl. Dip chicken into the ingredients. Sprinkle dry ingredients onto chicken to taste. Dip chicken in flour and fry until done.
I do know you can buy their seasoning mix.......no sure where though....maybe in the stores
